This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is a duet of our favorite two vineyards: Mast Ranch for its earthy, tannic structure, and Flat Rock Ranch, our most critically-acclaimed block, for its juicy and vibrant approachability. Both single vineyard designates of the Yountville Appellation, these vineyards possess a cross section of geomorphic and micro-climate idiosyncrasies poised to produce a Cabernet Sauvignon of approachable refinement.Tasting Notes
Dark crimson ruby color with a slight purple hue introduces developing aromas of blueberry jam, tart raspberry, burnt caramel and vanilla. This medium-bodied red wine expresses avors of black plum, unsweetened cocoa, and cassis on the front of the palate, and is complemented by chewy tannins and juicy cherry on the nish. This would be a perfect wine for smoked meats, salty cheeses and tiramisu.Vineyard Designation
