We focus on planting varieties that thrive in their designated terroir. We planted Primitivo in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. Primitivo is a sibling of the more commonly known Zinfandel and shares similar characteristics. This happy vine produces concentrated fruit with lively acidity and soft tannins.
Tasting Notes
With its bright magenta hue, this inaugural vintage of Primitivo is truly special. This jammy, juicy wine has notes of brandied cherries, ripe raspberry, and cassis.
