This wine is comprised of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Malbec. The Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from a few of our favorite vineyards in Napa Valley and the Malbec is sourced from our Flat Rock vineyard in Yountville. The blending of these vineyards creates a wine that offers robust dark fruit, firm elegant tannins, and ripe fruit characteristics.
Tasting Notes
The deep garnet color is followed by pronounced aromas of blackberry, sweet cranberry, and chocolate covered cherries. On the front of the palate, you'll find juicy acidity reminiscent of ripe strawberries and red currant with concentrated chewy tannins mid-palate and notes of vanilla and black pepper spice on the finish.
