Our Cold Creek Ranch Chardonnay is grown in the slightly cooler microclimate of the Sonoma side of the Los Carneros district to the west, where thick fog and cool marine winds build bracing acidity in the wine. A 50/50 ratio of Clones 15 and 95 make for an approachable style and luminous, golden color.
Tasting Notes
The glistening yellow diamond appearance gives way to enticing aromas of sweet peach, toasted hazelnut, quince jam, and vanilla. This Chardonnay is full bodied with mouthwatering acidity and a round palate that is complemented by flavors of golden delicious apple, sweet melon, lemon curd, and honey. Pair with freshly cracked crab dipped in lemon butter and a side of French bread.
