Vineyard workers have long reported seeing people between the rows and down by the creek, people who simply disappear when approached, hence the name “Ghost Ranch." With its juicy acidity, vibrant red-fruit notes, and cinnamon spice characteristic, this wine is the epitome of a Carneros Pinot Noir.
Tasting Notes
The ruby hue invites your nose to an aromatic bounty of Rainier cherries, toasted baking spice, mountain strawberries, and a subtle hint of peat moss. The pronounced palate is a beautiful balance of fruit and acid with notes of lingonberry, toasted hazelnuts, and thyme. This Pinot Noir would pair nicely with a cedar plank Copper River salmon filet with a side of beet and goat cheese salad. Drink now through 2030.
