The Chardonnay grapes are from our prized Phantom Ranch vineyard located in the cooler sub-AVA, Los Carneros. This wine is aged sur lie in stainless steel barrels for six months allowing for more aromatic and complex flavors to be expressed.
Tasting Notes
The fragrant nose opens up with enticing notes of white peach, Honeycrisp apple, and elderflower. The mouthwatering palate has a wonderful balance of acid and flavors that are reminiscent of key lime pie, D’Anjou pear, lemon sorbet, and honeysuckle. The finish lingers on your palate as the flavors dance across your tongue in perfect unison. This wine can be enjoyed as a refreshing aperitif or pair it with pan-seared scallops with lemon beurre blanc and a summer salad with peaches and goat cheese.Vineyard Designation
